I’m pleased to announce that Schedules are Final for the CNR Post-Season Tournament this weekend.  This means that we went through the initial confirmation to confirm all teams were in.  I then scheduled the tournament, released the schedules, gave teams a few days to view it, made adjustments, and in the past 24 hours, went through a second round of confirmations to confirm everyone has been monitoring the schedules.  Everyone has officially confirmed which means we can make the schedules final.

Schedule Link–  Schedule changes have taken place up until a few minutes ago so please make sure you check your schedule.

Tourney Info- I’ve gotten alot of questions on home/away uniforms, cost of tourney, gym directions, etc.  All of that information can be found Tourney Info tab on the schedule link- which is the first tab you’ll see.

Home vs. Away Uniforms- On the bracket, the team on the far right is the home team and will wear white uniforms.  However, that being said, please be prepared to change colors if you have that ability to do so.  We will have teams in this event that only have one color- so if you have the ability to change colors, be prepared to do so.

Brackets- Just to make sure everyone understands the brackets, if you are in a 4 or 5 team bracket that simply shows six games or eight games, that’s the entire tournament.  There is no championship game after the fact.  The majority of brackets we have are four teams.  The best record gets first place- the next best record gets second place.  We give out 1st/2nd for those brackets.  There will be situations where- for example- where it may be an unknown on who gets medals after your final game is over because another game is still to take place.  Our supervisors will work with me in determining those outcomes.

For those brackets that are six team (two pools of three teams), you’ll play your two pool games and if you scroll to the bottom of your bracket, you’ll see where it says Championship Round.  That’s where 1st Place in each pool play each other, 2nd place vs. 2nd place, and 3rd place vs. 3rd Place.  Both teams in the 1st place game get medals and the winner of the 2nd vs. 2nd gets medals.

Admission –  There is a daily admission for the tourney, which is outlined under the Tourney Info tab.  It’s $4 for adults, $2 for 65+, $2 for ages 6-11, and under six is free.  It’s good for all sites on that day.  Our gates don’t have a credit card machine so attendees need to pay by cash or check.

Scores –  They’ll be updated throughout the day and will be completely updated within 90 minutes of the final game.  When plugging those in, if you see a mistake, just have your coach let us know and we’ll make the adjustment.
