Coaches / Parents,

First and foremost, I hope all of you along with your families are in good health and staying in safe in these crazy times.

CNR Basketball should rank about 974 in your list of things to think about during these times. However, just to continue the amount of communication we try to do with CNR, here’s our latest update.

  • All of the schools have been closed down essentially until early April. In addition, various medical and governmental agencies have put out restrictions of having no more than 50 people in a building.
  • We still for now have a timeline that the first possible weekend of games will be on the weekend of April 18-19. However, just as everyone else in the education, business, entertainment and sports world have been doing, we will continue to monitor what the local authorities and medical experts have to say

Realistically speaking, I would say there is a high likelihood that our spring league will be cancelled. We’re not making that call right now, as there really isn’t a need to do so. However, if you are asking me to make a prediction, I would say it’s unlikely we get the opportunity to play. We will come out with another update next Monday as far as the status of the spring league is concerned.

Moving forward keep in mind our summer league runs from June 1st thru July 23rd on Monday thru Thursday evenings. This is for grades 2 thru Varsity. We’ll have more information on this in the next couple of weeks.

I hope everyone stays safe over the days and weeks ahead.

Thanks,

Jeremy
